Getting good traction and comfort with Original Swat Footwear

original swat boots for saleWe have seen several changes in this industry and the best thing is its all for the benefit of the customer.  There are lighter boots out there that are 9 inches in height and just like car tires, they are designed for better traction on concrete, blacktop and all the things that can cause you to slip.   You really feel the difference between  most sneakers and boots like the 1232 9″ side zip boot.   They use to call this the Metro traction but I’m not sure if that is still in use.  A good tactical boot should give you the support your legs, feet and ankles need but in this line of work, Law Enforcement and Military need footwear that can perform in environments and manors that they need.  There are plenty of options out there for Cops, Men and Women but it is also about pricing and not just quality.

We know there are better body armors and more accurate guns out there but not everyone is going to sink tons of money into something that is more than practical.   Just based on my personal reviews of the Original Swat Footwear for sale I get more than 9-12 months out of my boots as far as support goes and I have never had a boot tear or fall apart on me in the 4yrs I’ve been wearing them.    The 1232 boot gives me the support I need and the metro traction gives me the foothold I need to have so I can move around in environments like parking lots ect where slip and falls during pursuit can occur and oil stains and water can cause sliding.

Don’t get confused but they are still making your Original Swat footwear

original swat bootsWe have had this happen a few times in the past but this year we have a few SKU changes with the Original Swat footwear company.  Some of the boots that we have carried in recent years  have been given a new product code and it will be a little confusing for some in the short term, but eventually it will  work itself out.  Boots like the 1271 were a big hit but the product code has changed to the 116101.   Boxes are still marked with the old product codes but are being sold as a different one.   This was for inventory management on their end and not ours.   Some of the composite safety toe boots are very popular because school security or bank security guards don’t want the high boots.

There are a few other new boots we are bringing in stock this year and it’s looking like it will be a shorter boot that wins out in 2013.   The 126101 and the 116101 have been a biggest selling 6 inch Original swat boots and recently surpassed the 1151 boots.  The 1151 coyote is a favorite of ours with our local township and municipalities.   There’s just something eye catching about that boot and even those the size zip boots outsell the lace up, the 1151 is very popular.   Make sure you take advantage of our winter beanie cap promo and check out our Broomall, Pennsylvania showroom that is stocked with the Original Swat footwear tactical boots.

Getting the most for your money

We’ve been selling the Original Swat footwear for almost 2yrs now and we have a good track  record on the product  line.  Nobody has  a perfect product line, but we have a very good customer satisfaction rate with this line of boots.   The best thing about selling the Original Swat footwear is that our customers are guaranteed to get at least a year out of their footwear for their money.   We have guys stopping in every day that ask us about various product lines and many times they never heard of Original Swat footwear.  The first thing we show people is how light the boots are, they look solid but are very light weight.

In the last month we’ve had 3 customers show up at our door driving Harley Davidson that found out about Original Swat footwear company from  some of their biker friends and it was all about comfort. We are a stocking dealer and have lots of Original Swat boots for sale at our retail location here in Pennsylvania and online.   Check out the new product line the Chase Series footwear for a better Athletic footwear.   Some of the new boots are actually replacements for the previous line namely the 1230 footwear.  We have a few of the SEK900G and SEK9000 boots left on clearance.

Serious footwear for the job

When you realize that retiring your sneakers after running around on a firing range is a good idea, there are other things to consider depending on how serious you are about footwear and protecting  your feet.   Many of us have had those blue collar jobs where steel toe boots were mandatory, but technology is slowly replacing steel toe boots and more and more people are wearing composite toe footwear.   Many of our customers are walking in and out of prisons and not having to take your boots off and on is one less hassle.

The next we want to start seeing is the replacement of steel shanks for composite shanks and for anyone that has to break down doors, not having to worry about a nail going through your foot is good comfort.   There are many Original Swat boots to choose from, but do your research on all of the features that the Original Swat footwear company has to offer.   We’ve  been carrying their tactical boots for barely a year now, but customer response and the innovation of certain styles is impressive.

Do zippers fail?

There was a  lot of discussion in the past about how to secure accessories ect. in shirts and pants and some people really wanted zippers on their tactical shirts.   Most of the 5.11 tactical shirts that we have used in the past were velcro, but velcro is loud and if you are in a situation where you have to be covert, velcro is really loud.   The first version of the Woolrich Elite tactical shirts we saw which were basically an improvement over much of 5.11 tacticals tactical clothing was, was received very well.   There were some pocket variations that people didn’t like that 5.11 still had a edge over, but zippers on shirts was better received.

The Woolrich Elite 4910 was the discreet carry pant and there were suppose to be hidden zippers on the side, but they were not hidden very well and I honestly would not recommend stowing a firearm in a pocket that is zippered shut.   I have yet to have a zipper fail, but some people that have used boots did not like zippers.  The Original Swat boots have tactical boots that can be zip up or lace up.   I think the majority of our customer base prefer zip up and only one person that I have met really complained about boot zippers failing on them.  It kind of reminds me of all of the people that I knew that had card doors that were bent because they always slammed them shut on an angle.  I think those are the ones with zipper issues.
