Tactical Pants with a Warranty
Well, one thing to think about when settling on an apparel line is this, how many of your tactical apparel companies are offering a Warranty like this: “EOTAC’s products are of superior quality and come with a full warranty to the original owner. If our garment or accessory ever fails due to a material or manufacturing defect, even after extended use, we will repair the product, without charge, or replace it at our discretion. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over time and use. Damage not covered under warranty will be repaired or replaced for a reasonable rate and a fee will be charged for return shipping. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights, which vary from state to state”
We deal with the crowd that actually gets down and dirty on the range and in the field when it comes to tactical clothing. We probable get a couple phone calls a week from people mentioning they “blew the pants out at the range today” and then they name the tactical pants brand, the style ect. The tactical apparel market has been exploding and we have to admit there are some good quality pants out there, but the price differences are pretty extreme.
There is a huge difference in what kind of pants are tolerable in warm enviromnets. Once you start hitting the 80 F weather those cotton canvas pants will really get heavy. The styles 4441 and 4447 are your hot weather pants, and if those are too hot to wear, try the shorts. Everyone has varying degrees of tolearance in the type of apparel they can wear. We’d consider the 4441 pants to be the most worn unless you’re taking a carbine or tactical class or you’re toting and M16 or Ar15 all day, and then we’d recommend the style 4447 Lightweight Operator pants.
The real reason we love this shirt so much is how often we get out in cool mornings and by late morning we’re dying of heat and sometimes we just want to tear our shirt off. The back of the shirt is vented so even though this is not super lightweight material it can breath pretty well and the zipper can add a more professional look while zipped down when you want to cool off. The 4904 Cargo pants were originally designed for operators that migth be in the seated position and find it easier to pull a wallet or accessory from an ankle pocket rather than reach into hand pockets. Try sitting in a car and pull your keys out of your pocket, then try them from your ankle if you had a pocket down there. We have mostly 4904 OD Green pants at a blowout deal for $25.00 a pair, we do have a few Khaki and Black pants left but not many.
The Woolrich Elite tactical polos come in short sleeve and long sleeve styles. The shoulder pocket design is the same on both versions. In winter time, everyone will wish they had a decent long sleeve shirt that will be slightly warmer to wear with a nice shoulder pocket that is large enough to hold a notepad or blackberry phone and pen pocket. You’ve heard that word before, but this time we actually have something that is tactical, useful, warm and makes concealed carry easier in the winter months. There are plenty of half-zip sweatshirts out there, you see them at Cabela’s or your local outdoor sporting goods store, but all of them make carrying a little more difficult in cold weather. The Style 702 womens operator grade lightweight pants will be made of the same 100% cotton ripstop material that the men’s pants are made of, the stitching and durability are the same, but the buck stops there, or should we say doe? The pocket designs are unique to the womens pants and nothing like anything Eotac has out. The front pockets will easily accomodate pocket holsters, the two additional wallet type pockets can hold ID or even something as large as a pistol magazine. The pant legs are slightly tapered for a better look while still allowing access to an ankle holster or being worn with boots.
