Sale on Original Swat tactical boots

For the rest of the Month of October we are running a Promotion on Original Swat footwear.   These tactical boots are the best bang for the buck.   Last week we had a few customers walk in and ask us how much the boots were and they were shocked to find out that they were all less than $90.   With Original Swats 1yr warranty on all of the footwear, you really can take a step into them for a few months and if they do have issues, you can replace them.   We’ve sold hundreds of pairs of boots this year and have less than 1% return rate on them.   There is a very good selection of tactical boots and footwear from the ever growing company.

The Most popular boots that we sell are probable the lightest weight boots out there.   The Style 1232 air 9 inch side zip tactical boots have outstanding foot support.   For the month of October we have a $15 discount code : swat15off and that can be used on any Original Swat tactical boots or shoes.   Don’t forget the tactical boots for women also.   Water proof tactical boots for Swat teams, EMS and paramedics for less than $100.   You might even pick out something and use the discount code and get a great deal on tactical footwear.

Getting ready for the training, got your guns and gear, but what about your boots?

I’ve seen plenty of guys really worn down about half way through a training course and there is usually a mount of unwanted gear tossed somewhere on a range.  Mag pouches, ammunition, gun parts and backpacks can really wear you out if you are over packed.   Getting a gun that is a pound or two lighter than really makes a difference especially if you’ve ever thrown some of your ammunition on a scale to see how much 30rds of .223 actually weighs.  One other thing to seriously consider doing is lightening the footwear you are using.   Sneakers may be good for an urban environment to some degree, but not good on rough surfaces.

Wearing your steel tip boots that were meant for construction workers is also an over kill.   Original Swat boots has a broad selection of footwear to choose from and if you want support, and don’t want to get weight down.  Try the 1232 Air 9″ Side Zips.   These boots always impress people when they put them on and feel how light they are.  If you want a steel toe, try the composite toe try the 1260 boots.   These won’t transfer cold like steel toe boots but give you the protection you need.

More feedback from Original Swat customers

The beauty of having a retail store and not just being and e-commerce business is that you get face to face and hands on experience working with customers and products.   You can talk about something over the phone all you want, but sometimes you can learn things just by watching someone use a tool.   I just got a demo on how to draw a firearm from a shirt that I never saw before and it looked like something from a martial arts movie, but it was funny watching a big fat guy show you how he busts bad guys.   This cop was explaining how he made an arrest on a criminal a few days ago and seeing the reasons he moved that way was interesting.

When it comes to what people want with boots, the ability to shine boots seems to be pretty important to many of our customers.  Original Swat footwear comes with a 1yr warranty on all of their stuff.   It’s great being a dealer for a product that is backed by it’s manufacturer.    The newest bit of info we got from our customers is the arguments over lace up boots and original swat side-zip boots.   Some guys have had bad experiences with zippers but I think like many things, it’s how you handle something. Some people don’t know how to close a car door and they end up messing everything up.  Last month I watched somebody ride a door shut and he bent the door so bad it didn’t close right.  I bet he has problems with his zipper, too.

Sneakers aren’t going to cut it so don’t try

Another recent event at a local Carbine training event gave me another perspective on seeing novice weekend warriors show up at a class for the first time.  Besides the usual guys that have gear fall off, magazines fly all over the place, guns break, scopes come loose, pants tear.   I saw a guy try and shoot a course in a pair of sneakers.   I know that sometimes people think that being able to move fast is important, and it is, but not having good foot support is really bad.   Unless you have no intentions of having to run around very fast, sneakers are good for you, but i’ve seen so many twisted ankles and stumbling that I would never take a class with anything but boots.   I have a couple old steel toe relics in my closet, I haven’t used them very much, but they are so hardly worn that I can’t thrown them away.

The tactical footwear that I have the most experience with to date is the Original Swat footwear.   I’m not going to boast that they are the best boots out there, but they were well within my price range and I have not been disappointed by them yet.   I am presently wearing 3 kinds of Original Swat boots and I still hate it when I have situations where I can not wear them.  Considering how much weight I am sometimes asked to carry around, I really don’t feel the stress on my feets since I’ve been wearing the Original Swat Air 9″ 1232 boots.   After about 8 months of wearing them I did feel the support begin to wear out, but that’s 8 hard months of work for less than $100.   I could have saved money on some medical bills if i would have been wearing these years before.

The Air 9″ Side Zip MTO 1232 from Original Swat

The first week I wore the Style 1232 I noticed only a little extra weight from the walking I did, but I actually noticed immediately that the soles of my feet were fine.   The inside of the boot fit me well and I did not develope and sores or rough spotss.   My feet also did not sweat real bad and I was working in 80F weather.    The boots didn’t breath as well as sneakers, but who would expect that.   After 2 months of wearing the same boots for almost 6 days a week.   I have had almost no pain my feet and I have actually been able to lift more than I normally can without issues.   I guess it sounds pretty bad to have to talk about my poor physcial health, but just because you are wearing tactical gear, doesn’t mean you have to be the fastest runner on your team.

We were new to the idea of carrying tactical footwear, but our customers basically gave us enough feedback on what they wanted us to carry that we went out and contacted Original Swat to find out about being a dealer.   All of our Staff are presently wearing the product line and we’ll fill you in as time goes by on various styles and what people think of them.   I personally got a hold of the Style 1232 from Original Swat boots and given that I have had my fair share of foot problems, I wasn’t really sure how well my feet were going to handle wearing boots.   I had the unfortunate experience of having foot surgery on both feed in the last few years and my physical movements have been restricted because of the problems.   I was forced to wear sneakers in most situations just because they were much softer on my feet.
